Neeo Remote
There's no need to juggle multiple remotes or lose your favorite seat on the couch to flip a light switch. From one sleek remote, you can operate your TV, music, and lighting from the comfort of your recliner.
The Neeo remote controls every piece of your Control4 system with a 3-inch high-resolution glass touchscreen interface at the top portion of the remote and tactile buttons at the bottom portion. This combination allows you to efficiently operate your frequently used devices without taking your eyes off the movie. You can switch between video sources like Roku, satellite or Xbox, then activate lighting scenes or lock your doors in a simple tap.
OS 3
Last year, Control4 debuted its new operating system, OS 3. The new system introduced a whole new world of usability to the Control4 home automation brand. This update applies to any control device you use, be it a smartphone app, tablet, table touchscreen or wall touchpad.
A new, customizable Favorites screen was added, letting homeowners personalize how they control their Chapel Hill home. There’s no need to scroll through each smart device available in a room if you most often operate motorized shades and play music in a room. You can even set wallpaper backgrounds to room screens, meaning you can take a photo of your very own living room and set it as the background to the Living Room control screen. This may seem like a silly addition, but imagine how simple controlling your home becomes for guests or children.
Essential Lighting
In March, Control4 announced the expansion of its Essential Lighting wireless lighting line, which offers smaller-scale, affordable, and entry-level lighting solutions. Designed for both new builds or retrofit projects, Essential Lighting allows homeowners who may be a little hesitant to fully automate the entire home’s lighting to quickly automate lamps or other devices in just a few rooms with a new dimmer or switch.
